Select Automotive Supplies are looking for an Apprentice Parts Advisor to compile quotations and work alongside the trade counter team at their premises in Manchester.
This position plays an integral role within the company, you will be responsible for the day to day compilation of quotations, sourcing and pricing parts as well as reviewing and receiving stock.
Reporting directly to the Parts Manager, you will be responsible for the duties outlined below.
Additional responsibilities and duties may evolve as the role develops.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Take telephone/email enquiries, source, price and quote for customers.
- Price check multiple suppliers to obtain the best possible purchase prices
- Identify and list parts not in stock, liaise with parts manager on daily orders
- Receive and receipt goods in
- Process returns
- Manage payments from customers over the trade counter

Intermediate Apprenticeship in Vehicle Parts.
This apprenticeship is delivered through work based learning, this means that all training is done at the workplace eliminating the need to attend college. The successful candidate will be allocated an assessor who will visit on site every 4-6 weeks and deliver all of the training to gain the qualification and provide the resources to complete work between visits.
