Description

We are currently undergoing a metamorphosis from our old premises to the new so we are currently recruiting for a new Equine Groom to join our busy, friendly team.

Prior experience with horses would be beneficial and there will be the opportunity to ride and learn the ropes of our yard while training for your Level 2 Equine Groom qualification.

General duties to include;

  • Mucking out
  • Turning out/bringing in
  • Tack cleaning
  • Tacking up
  • Feeding
  • Filling hay nets
  • Clipping/pulling/plaiting/trimming
  • Bathing
  • Rug changing
  • Schooling
  • Riding
  • First aid Exercising horses from the ground Holding for vet/farrier/dentist

Full training supported by Haddon Training
Successful candidate will be hard-working and keen to succeed within the equine industry.
Possibility of Level 3 Senior Groom Apprenticeship on completion of Level 2.
