Description
CVS Group has an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Apprentice to join their team working at various Veterinary practices across the Alnorthumbria group undertaking a wide range of duties.
This is an excellent opportunity for a learner who is keen to learn and passionate about offering the best customer service.
A driving license is essential for the position.
The role will be as a receptionist/administrator with 75% of the time being spent in reception & 25% doing administration.
Your duties will include;
Answering the telephone
Speaking to clients face to face
Making appointments
Receiving clients & dealing with their requirements
Taking and responding to messages
Maintaining records, invoicing Taking & recording payments
Dealing with queries
Assisting with insurance claims
Liaise with clients and colleagues
Advising and supporting clients
Maintain hygiene standards in office & client areas
Assisting in Practice admin office.

As a Receptionist/administrator in a busy practice there is a requirement to carry out any task of which the individual is capable after the necessary training.
As an Apprentice you will be enrolled on a Level 2 Customer Service qualification.
Your Qualification will be delivered by an Award Winning Training Provider who will support your learning and development throughout your Apprenticeship. This will involve a Regional Trainer coming to visit you on a regular basis to deliver the training and guide you through your Apprenticeship.

Five GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades C or above and some customer service experience would be desirable.
Apprenticeship Customer Service Practioner Level 2
Apprenticeship standards are aimed at developing skills within the Apprentices’ chosen career route, each standard has set knowledge, skills and behaviours required to be successful within the job role. This will include the completion of functional skills in Maths and English.
Once the apprentice has completed a minimum of 12 months training and the employer and Babcock regional trainer confirm they have met all the requirements of the standard they will be put through to end point assessment. The end point assessment is independent from the training and includes a variety of assessment methods which test the skills and knowledge of the apprentice to ensure they are fully competent in their role.
Each Apprentice will be supported throughout the apprenticeship by a structured programme of teaching, e-learning, face to face training and workplace mentoring; this will encourage and help them to meet the requirements of the new standards and will prepare them for the end of point assessment.
