Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen at Feel Good Studio in Louth, Lincolnshire for an apprentice to join the team as an apprentice

Duties will include:

• Administrative duties

• Selling memberships - face to face and on the phone

• Gym Maintenance and daily tasks

• Cleaning

• Reporting faults with equipment are reported and fixed

• Gym supervision to assist members with queries and ensure rules adhered to

• Reporting to and working with Manager, and team leader

• Potential of taking group exercise classes based on individual and own personal desires

• Design member gym programs

• Deal with membership enquiries and process payments,

• Maintain hygiene, safety and fire standards within the work area in adherence with safety matters and all legal requirements in order to ensure the health and safety of guests, members and associates.

• Carry out regular checks for cleanliness of all areas of the leisure club and to complete daily tasks within the department when on shift

Full training provided on all equipment.

As an Apprentice you will be included on an Active Leisure Qualification, this will involve a Vocational Learning Advisor who will visit you on a regular basis, to deliver the training and coach the Apprentice and will be observing whilst you work

Level 2 Exercise and Fitness

Each framework includes a diploma/certificate which shows the practical skills, a technical certificate to confirm the knowledge and understanding and Functional Skills in Maths and English.

You will be assessed throughout the apprenticeship and complete the qualification based on the competencies within your job role.

You will be assessed by a combination of observations, professional discussion, question and answer sessions and self-study which is required to confirm your knowledge and understanding of the career route you have chosen.

Polite behaviour, honest and trustworthy Must have a Passionate for the industry and to do well, caring and have a professional friendly manner, and be able to form good relations with clients and colleagues.
The vacancy role will all be a learning opportunity, there is also an opportunity of a full time position on completion for the right candidate
