Description

This is a great opportunity for someone who is willing to work hard to succeed in the Equine Industry.

Must be confident handling youngsters and fit horses as we have 40 thoroughbreds. There is also an opportunity to be involved in Sales.

General yard duties such as:

  • Mucking out
  • Tack cleaning
  • Feeding
  • Bathing
  • Rug changing
  • Paddock and yard maintenance
  • Riding (daily lessons)
  • First aid
  • Training towards lunging, long-reining ect.
  • Holding for vet/farrier/dentist
  • Grooming

Experience is required as this is a demanding and physical job, and you will need good knowledge of working with horses.
Must be able to work towards Level 1 or higher in Functional Skills maths and English
Full training supported by Haddon Training
Successful candidate must be hard working and keen to succeed within the equine industry
Possibility of Level 3 Senior Groom Apprenticeship on completion of Level 2
Possibility of accommodation and livery
