Strawberrys Day Care Nursery
Description
This is a fantastic opportunity for an apprentice to join the team at Strawberry’s Day Care Nursery!
You will be working with children aged three months to 11 years, you will be responsible for providing the best possible standards of care and education as well as ensuring the environment is safe and secure. You will be required to help supervise the children’s play, learning activities and meal times. You will be working as part of a team. The role requires caring for all children’s needs and assisting staff with the Early Years Foundation Stage requirements.

*Planning and supervising activities
*Helping children learn Ensuring Children are in a safe environment
If you currently hold a Level 2 in Childcare, you have the opportunity to complete a Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship!
As an Apprentice you will be included on a Children’s and Young Peoples Workforce Qualification. Your Qualification will be delivered by an Award Winning Training Provider who will support your learning and development throughout your Apprenticeship.

Good communication skills, the ability to use own initiative, willing to learn, willing to care for all children’s care needs. You must also be willing to take direction from supervisor of childcare room.
GCSE’s at grade C/4 in Maths and English are desirable, but not essential
Level 2 Children and Young Peoples Workforce Apprenticeship Each framework includes a diploma/certificate which shows the practical skills, a technical certificate to confirm the knowledge and understanding and Functional Skills in Maths and English.
You will be assessed throughout the apprenticeship and complete the qualification based on the competencies within your job role.
You will be assessed by a combination of observations, professional discussion, question and answer sessions and self-study which is required to confirm your knowledge and understanding of the career route you have chosen.
You must be caring, compassionate, reliable, punctual, creative and able to use initiative.
There is a possibility of a permanent position upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.
The earliest required start for this position is 7:45am and the latest required finish is 6pm. Please be aware, employment is subject to a DBS check.
