Description

We are a 5 star livery yard based on a farm in the idyllic landscape of Kent. We offer a wide range of services in a friendly environment where the horses always come first. We offer stabling on a full livery basis and we can also offer competition and training packages tailored to your needs. We have a resident trainer, rider and judge who is on hand to help with lessons, schooling, lunging and hacking. She has ridden for over 30 years and specialised in dressage for 25 years as well as competing at advanced level dressage and trained to Grand Prix. We have a whole host of regular clinics and events and also have monthly unaffiliated dressage competitions with championship.

General yard duties to be completed by successful apprentice to a high standard, including;

  • Turning out and bringing in
  • Daily mucking out
  • Rug change/boots
  • Feed morning and evening
  • Preparing for schooling

Some previous experience with horses.
Must be able to work towards Level 1 or higher in Functional Skills maths and English
Full training through the Equine Apprenticeship supported by Haddon Training.
Keen, hard-working and punctual. Calm and confident around horses. Willing to work outside in all weathers.
Progression onto a Level 3 Apprenticeship, or full time position on completion of the diploma.
Possibility to bring your own horse. No accommodation.
