Apprentice Accounts Assistant

FME Property Solutions Ltd (FME) have an apprenticeship opportunity for a punctual, reliable and confident individual to work within the Accounts Team based in Sheffield. You will be trained in all aspects of business administration within the Finance Department.

FME - Employer

FME work on multi-disciplinary refurbishment projects, the design and installation of mechanical and electrical systems and the delivery of planned and reactive fabric, mechanical and electrical maintenance services.

Detailed Job Description

  • Input information onto the company’s management information system
  • Assist checking engineers’ timesheets, PDA data and tracker information
  • Assist in any other duties that may be required from time to time for the smooth running of the department
  • Carry out general office duties as filing, scanning, photocopying
  • Gain knowledge and experience of other roles within the Finance department
  • Carry out other duties consistent with the job-holder’s knowledge and skills which are necessary for the satisfactory completion of contracts or business goals.

Requirements and Prospects

Qualifications required

GCSE grade C/level 4 or above in Maths/ English

Skills required

Experience of using Microsoft Office packages

Additional Information

Training provided

Full on-the-job training and support will be provided to enable the successful applicant to undertake the full range of duties required of the role.All apprentices are required to complete and evidence 20% of the job learning whilst on their apprenticeship.In addition, training will also be provided towards the apprenticeship in business administration within the workplace during regular visits with a member of our dedicated team of training advisors.

Our Level 2 Business Administration Apprenticeship Programme consists of the following:

  • Level 2 NVQ in Business and Administration
  • Level 2 Functional Skills in Literacy, Numeracy, and ICT (portfolio and test)
  • Employee Rights and Responsibilities (ERR
  • )Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS)
