Description

Milton Abbas is a large outdoor school, lunge arena and, horse walker. They can tailor individual livery packages according to requirements. Fabulous all year turnout in Post and Rail Paddocks. A great opportunity at a friendly stable situated in the picturesque village of Dorset. General yard duties include: Mucking out Turning out/bringing in Tack cleaning Tacking up Feeding Filling hay nets Clipping/pulling/plaiting/trimming Bathing Rug changing Schooling Riding First aid Exercising horses from the ground (lunging, horse walker, long reining, pessoa training etc.) Holding for vet/farrier/dentist

Some previous experience with horses.
Must be able to work towards Level 1 or higher in Functional Skills maths and English
Full training through the Equine Apprenticeship supported by Haddon Training.
Must be keen, hard-working and willing to work outdoors in all weathers
Opportunity for a full-time job or progression to a Level 3 apprenticeship.
