Aldwark Manor Hotel has a fantastic opportunity to offer to the right candidate to join their friendly Housekeeping Team.
Your job role will include;
• To clean and prepare guest rooms and public areas to consistently meet hotel standards
• To maintain stock levels on your service trolley
• Ensuring doors to occupied rooms are never left unsecured
• Never allowing a guest access to individual rooms without first establishing their right to be in the room
• Change bed linen and towels
• Make beds
• Vacuum floors
• Dust and polish furniture
• Clean bathrooms
• Replace stocks of guest supplies such as shampoo and soap
Apprenticeship Hospitality Team Member L2
Apprenticeship standards are aimed at developing skills within the Apprentices chosen career route, each standard has set knowledge, skills and behaviours required to be successful within the job role. This will include the completion of functional skills in Maths and English.

• Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and products desirable.

No formal qualifications required as full training will be given. Basic Health and Safety knowledge is preferred however, hotel specific training courses including Health and Safety will be paid for by the employer for the successful candidate.
Level 2 Hospitality Team Member ( Front of House ) Apprenticeship.
Apprenticeship standards are aimed at developing skills within the Apprentices’ chosen career route, each standards has set knowledge, skills and behaviours required to be successful within the job role. This will include the completion of functional skills in Maths and English.
Once the apprentice has completed a minimum of 12 months training and the employer and Babcock regional trainer confirm they have met all the requirements of the standard they will be put through to end point assessment. The end point assessment is independent from the training and includes a variety of assessment methods which test the skills and knowledge of the apprentice to ensure they are fully competent in their role.
Each Apprentice will be supported throughout the apprenticeship by a structured programme of teaching, e-learning, face to face training and workplace mentoring; this will encourage and help them to meet the requirements of the new standards and will prepare them for the end of point assessment.

The Apprenticeship will develop your knowledge and skills. Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship there may be the potential for promotion onto the next role level i.e. Housekeeping Supervisor. There may also be the chance to achieve other hospitality qualifications i.e. L3 Hospitality Supervisor Diploma.
