Detailed Job Description

As this is an apprentice post the job holder will be required to work in various areas throughout the organisation to develop skills, knowledge and experience in all aspects of administration.

Will have the ability to multi task together dealing with customer enquiries to undertake a range of administrative tasks as identified by the Line Manager, to complete all administration required by the Company and to meet deadlines and to achieve their targets.

You will be responsible for the day to day running of the administration including the recruitment process sending out application forms advertising, booking candidates, issuing offer / decline letters maintain weekly updates to the company on current recruitment vacancies and completing new starter packs for all employees. Chasing for employment references, processing DBS checks and following the recruitment process through from start to finish.

You will also have the opportunity to get involved in projects to drive the business forward.

To maintain confidentiality at all times regarding any organisational issues, update records and maintain detailed information as part of a busy and flexible department.

Training provided

Full on-the-job training and support will be provided to enable the successful applicant to undertake the full range of duties required of the role. All apprentices are required to complete and evidence 20% of the job learning whilst on their apprenticeship.

In addition, training will also be provided towards the Apprenticeship in Business Administration within the workplace during regular visits with a member of our dedicated team of Training Advisors.

Our Level 2 Business Administration Apprenticeship Programme consists of the following:

· NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration

· Functional Skills in Literacy, Numeracy and IT Level 2 (portfolio & test)
