Park Lodge Day Nursery are looking for Level 3 Childcare Apprentice to join their team.
You will learn skills on the job working with children 3 months to 5 years. A level 2 qualification in Children & Young People’s Workforce is essential, along with GCSE Maths and English.
Some of the duties you will undertake will include:
Supervising children’s play and learning activities
Supporting children’s hygiene routines
Completing children’s learning and development files to a high standard
Assisting at meal times and with feeding
Contributing to planned programmes of activities
Liaising with parents and carers
Following Health and Safety at all times
Working as part of a team to set-up the rooms and clear down at the end of the day
As an Apprentice you will be included on a Level 3 Children’s & Young Persons Workforce Apprenticeship.
Your Qualification will be delivered by an Award Winning Training Provider who will support your learning and development throughout your Apprenticeship. This will involve a Regional Trainer visiting you on a regular basis, to deliver the training and coach the Apprentice and will be observing whilst you work.

Each framework includes a diploma/certificate which shows the practical skills, a technical certificate to confirm the knowledge and understanding and Functional Skills in Maths and English.
You will be assessed throughout the apprenticeship and complete the qualification based on the competencies within your job role.
You will be assessed by a combination of observations, professional discussion, question and answer sessions and self-study which is required to confirm your knowledge and understanding of the career route you have chosen.
