Description
An excellent apprenticeship opportunity is available to work and train as an automotive apprentice within a franchised motor retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- To undertake all college and company training and development to successfully complete the apprenticeship programme to expected and agreed standards.
- To undertake all training and development in pursuit of becoming a qualified Service Technician.
- Accurately and skilfully undertake the repair and servicing of motor vehicles under line manager supervision and direction, whilst detecting and diagnosing any additional faults for further repair, ensuring all work is completed safely and to the customer’s complete satisfaction.

Previously achieved GCSE at Grade C or above in English and Maths is an advantage but not essential.
You will be required to complete the college based online initial assessments in English, Maths and IT as part of the application process (a score of at least Entry Level 3 is required).
The successful candidate(s) will work towards completing the Level 2 (Intermediate) Apprenticeship in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
You may also be required to complete Functional Skills in English, Maths and IT if you have not previously achieved GCSE grade C (4) or equivalent.
You will work and train within the workplace and attend college (Blackpool & The Fylde) on a block release basis.
You must be prepared and committed to undertake training and qualifications during your apprenticeship.
A full-time position may be available on successful completion of the apprenticeship.
