Description
Links Signs and Graphics have a fantastic opportunity to join their team as an apprentice sign maker. You will support experienced fitters and assist with working with materials such as: perspex, vinyl, plastic and metal. Various methods are used to produce lettering for signs, depending on the project.
You will learn a range of skills including how to prepare different types of surfaces; cut out and build plastics into letters and logos and use digital technologies. The nature of the work will vary on a daily basis.
The successful candidate will work towards completing the Level 2 Engineering Apprenticeship in Performing Engineering Operations and attend college one day per week at Blackpool & The Fylde College (Bispham Campus).

4 GCSE’s at grades A*- D (9-4) including Maths and English (or equivalent).
Apprentices will be trained within the workplace and attend college one day per week.
You will work towards completing the Level 2 (intermediate) Apprenticeship in Performing Engineering Operations.
Functional Skills in English and Maths may be required to complete (dependant on previous GCSE (or equivalent) English and Maths qualifications.
