Description

Autotecnik Blackpool are looking for an exceptional Level 3 Apprentice to work and train within a prestigious automotive environment.

The main duties of this apprenticeship will cover: diagnosing and rectifying vehicle defects, removing and fitting tyres and carrying out basic service checks. Due to the practical nature of this sector, you will work alongside experienced, qualified technicians and be fully trained and supervised in order to be successful within your role.

Candidates who wish to apply for this vacancy must already have achieved a Level 2 Motor Vehicle course or have the relevant previous work experience within a garage.

You will need to be very practically minded and enjoy using your hands and fixing things.

Ideally you will have already completed a Level 2 Light Vehicle course or have some maintenance experience from working within a garage.

  • You must achieve a score of at least Level 1 on the college online initial assessments in English and Maths.
  • You must have a Level 2 Motor Vehicle qualification or the relevant work experience within a garage.

You will work towards completing the Level 3 (Advanced) Apprenticeship in Light Vehicle in order to become a qualified technician.

You will be primarily trained within the workplace and attend college 1 day per week.
