It might not be the first thing on your mind at the moment, but there are plenty of free online courses that you could be doing to not only keep you busy, but also improve your CV in the process.

If you’re currently at home twiddling your thumbs, the good news is you don’t need to be twiddling your thumbs for much longer. We know how many people are sitting at home wondering what they could be doing with all this time on their hands to make sure it’s not wasted. That’s why we’ve decided to share some FREE online courses with you.

Although it might just sound like an extra thing to do just to fill your time, the extra benefits that doing an online course at the moment are second-to-none. It will not only give you something to talk about on your GetMyFirstJob profile as well as your CV, but it will give you something to talk about during interviews. Employers will be able to talk to you about how you felt doing the course at home and it will show how dedicated you are, because you chose to study a qualification rather than sit at home binge-watching boxsets or playing on a games console. It can help show your interest in a subject and a commitment to your career or provide evidence of continuing professional development, particularly if you get a free certificate at the end of a course!
