What are the Morrisons Degree Apprenticeship Programmes?

Manufacturing Degree Apprenticeship

Manage teams, run production lines and work on live projects with the UK's 2nd largest fresh food manufacturer.

With this apprenticeship, you'll learn how to run production lines and lead production teams, you'll make an impact on exciting live business projects. You'll also learn about different manufacturing equipment, processes and technologies and gain early responsibility as a Team Manager and progress at the end of the programme to a Shift Manager.

Corporate Degree Apprenticeship

You'll work on placements in areas such as Trading, Corporate Services, Online, Marketing, Loss Prevention and Property in year one and two before specialising in a business area in year three  

The Morrison's Corporate Services team monitor the quality of over 8,000 own-label products.

Logistics Degree Apprenticeship

Gaining hands-on experience of our fast-paced logistics processes, you'll make a difference from day one. Be part of the teams which moves millions of products from our distribution centres to our stores.

You'll take early responsibility as a Team Manager and progress at the end of the programme to a Shift Manager. Learn about Morrisons logistics systems, processes and technologies & learn to work alongside all kinds of different people from across the business.

Retail Degree Apprenticeship

Thinking quickly on your feet at the heart of the action, you'll keep your store running smoothly.

Learn about our store trading operations and systems, you'll also develop your project management skills by supporting exciting live business projects, which will enable us to serve our customers better. By the end of the three years you'll be a Senior Manager in one of stores accountable for a range of departments, holding joint accountability with other Senior Managers for the store in the Store Managers absence

What happens during the Morrisons Degree Apprenticeship?

On the one hand you'll take on a real role and enjoy getting paid while learning on-the-job and taking responsibility for people, projects and our operations. On the other hand, you'll be an undergraduate student, studying towards a degree in business and management. 

What do you get?

A Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship at the University of Bradford or Sheffield Hallam University. You'll gain full chartered membership of the CMI and the skills and experience you need to step into a management role after three years (although there will be a final exam in the fourth year) and go onto become one of Morrisons future leaders.

What do I need for the Morrisons Degree Apprenticeship?

For the Morrisons Degree Apprenticeship you need resilience, determination and good leadership skills as well as the flexibility to meet the changing needs of Morrisons. To successfully apply for any of the programmes you'll need 104 UCAS Points.

Where do you study and how do you get there?

You will attend either the University of Bradford or Sheffield Hallam University, in weekly blocks throughout the year. Don't worry about travel and accommodation for this, as it will be paid for by Morrisons.

How many apprentices get hired for the Morrisons Degree Apprenticeship?

We're looking to hire around 60 Degree apprentices for 2018.
