If you’re an apprentice at BT, you’ll be working with other apprentices from a diverse range of backgrounds with a wide variety of skills, interests and experiences. There isn’t a ‘typical’ BT apprentice, you’ll be able to work in a number of different areas, from HR to Customer Service Operations. We’ve put some information together to let you know some more about the BT opportunities.

Through the power of technology, BT helps big organisations to small start-ups to create possibilities. You’ll be helping to broaden and deepen the customer relationships and help to win new customers.
If you want to gain professional engineering qualifications, love looking after customers and like to get stuck in, this could be perfect for you.
This three-and-a-half-year programme will get you both a BTEC and an NVQ and help to look after Openreach’s fleet of over 120,000. BT have even won awards on this scheme including regional apprenticeship awards.
You’ll be working in business administration and be fully supported by a BT mentor to get to your maximum potential. You will be making a big difference to the company through this apprenticeship.
Through this apprenticeship you’ll get level 5 qualifications or an advanced apprenticeship and have a role I sales, product management, business operations or even project management!
If you’ve got you’re A-levels, you could get your CIMA or CMIIA qualifications through BT. You’ll get experience in either accounting or internal audit and you could even get to travel internationally with this apprenticeship!
IT is essential to BT. By being the fastest, more BT customers will want to go with BT. You’ll be at the heart of the company with a lot riding on you.
Whether you’re in the Security Operations with the security implementation team or the security architects, you’ll be working with specialist departments. You’ll be involved in loads of apprenticeships and is a great alternative to University.
You could be working in distribution, warehouses or even stock management to make sure that BT is running as smoothly as possible. Ensuring that customer get the best experience possible.
