Description of Opportunity
Working within the Power Generation Production Team to dismantle small electro/mechanical components (generators) down to their individual components, overhaul/repair and assemble generators ready for final testing following written instruction manuals.

Prior experience in a workshop/mechanical environment
Dexterous, able to use hand tools to a high standard
Ability to use standard measuring equipment
Experience within the aviation industry is not essential. However, it would be beneficial
if you had experience as a car mechanic, machine tool builder or Hydro-mechanical Engineer or similar industries
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Attention to detail
Numerate and literate - minimum GCSE (or equivalent) maths and English (desirable)
Computer literate, basic skills
The ability to follow written instructions
Able to work as part of a team
Good attitude with a willingness to get on
Work safely and comply with company policies
An aptitude and ability to understand how things are designed, assembled and function
Motivated & positive
Honest, reliable and flexible
Committed & willing to learn
The use of PPE such as safety glasses and safety toed shoes are required
Minimal interaction with chemicals, carbon dust and other IP rated materials
