Full training will be given but all apprentices will need to have a good standard of written English and maths due to the nature of the job role.  Some skills in ICT would be beneficial.
Full training will be given and a mentor will be allocated to support with the level 2.
We are looking for apprentices/candidates who are: Reliable Organised Common-sense Flexible with shift patterns Empathetic Patient Trustworthy Willingness to seek support when required  Happy to work independently or with other carers Compassionate A real interest in supporting the elderly to remain as independent as possible and able to stay in their own home Candidate will require their own transport due to the nature of the job.
Granthem area - within a 10 mile radius.  Apprentice must be a car driver with their own transport.
There are opportunities to progress within the company to Assistant Senior Carers and Senior Home Care Assistants, managing your own team.  There are also opportunities to train and become specialised within different areas of Health & Social Care. Increased hourly pay for those undertaking and completing Level 2 in Health & Social care
