Manage John Deere’s sophisticated parts systems, run a profitable retail environment, merchandise goods effectively, and understand the value of John Deere products and the importance of selling on quality rather than on price.
In contrast to the Ag Tech and Turf Tech apprenticeships, the Parts Tech programme is delivered mainly in the workplace.

You should be:
Have a practical ability
A logical thinker
Ideally you will be have or be predicted to have good GCSEs in English, maths and science (or equivalent qualifications) although these are not essential. You must however be literate and numerate.
Willing to study hard

Possible negative points: The job can be physically demanding. As a parts technician you may be required to work unsociable hours during busy periods.
