Essential: A thorough commitment to the delivery of excellent customer service Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers. An excellent team player with the ability to communicate effectively with work colleagues and management and actively support the development and maintenance of high staff morale. A well-organised approach to work being effective and efficient in the performance of all work duties. Able to work well under pressure during popular film or production weeks and also able to self-motivate during quieter periods. Able to perform whatever the business of the organisation are on any given day. Desirable: An awareness of, and interest in, the film, theatre and entertainment industry Knowledge of health and safety within the work place, food hygiene practices and allergies/dietary requirements Experience of working with cinematic technical equipment (projectors and sounds racks) Experience of working within a customer focussed environment preferably in the entertainment and hospitality sector. Experience using till systems, more specifically box office/ticketing software. Experience of preparing and serving food and drinks in line with set specifications and food hygiene standards. Experience in cash handling
GCSE English and Maths Level 4/C or equivalent

Working evenings, weekends and bank holidays throughout the year, sometimes at short notice. Means of transportation if you do not live in Stowmarket. Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week). Upon completion there may be a full time customer service role available for a successful apprentice. Our most recent apprentice has obtained a full time duty manager role within the organisation.
