Description of Opportunity
The Premises Apprentice will support the delivery of the responsibilities of the Estates team
function across the Trust in complying with health and safety and other legislation and
organisational policies and procedures. You must be willing to commit to undertaking a two
year Level two IWFM Apprenticeship programme with the Trust.

Relevant experience in an estates and facilities role
A good standard of general education
Ability to understand basic Health and Safety regulations relating to estates function
Ability to understand relevant legislation and guidance in relation to working with, and the protection of, children
Ability to operate basic machinery
High level personal organisation and time management skills
Ability to use problem solving skills
Good communication skills
Technical skills in using computerised systems (eg Microsoft Office, Centrastor. EVERY etc
A thorough understanding of data protection principles and integrity and confidentiality regarding personal data
Relevant and recognised technical qualification (or experience) in a trade (Carpentry, electrician etc.)
An ability to establish positive working relationships with colleagues and pupils through modelling very high levels of professionalism, commitment and integrity
