Waterside Training in partnership with Ford Halewood Transmissions Ltd has two fantastic opportunities for apprentices to join their production team to support the manufacturing operations with two Measurement and Inspection Engineer positions available to join their engineering department.

Ford Halewood Transmissions Ltd and Waterside Training Limited is looking for high calibre candidates who are self-motivated, reliable, proactive, enthusiastic and very well organised who can work excellently within a team who is driven to succeed and grow in a fast pace environment to join our apprenticeships to become the next highly skilled engineers and technicians of the future.
Candidates should have a keen and enthusiastic interest in practical based work and manufacturing applications and have strong communication skills and team leadership qualities.
5 GCSE's at A-C or 5-9 in English, Mathematics and Sciences are essential.
We will also consider applications from candidates who have completed or be part way through completion of an Electrical, Mechanical or Electronics NVQ 3 apprenticeship or a BTEC or City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Engineering.
Prospective candidates should have a keen and demonstrable interest in practical based work as well as having an enthusiastic approach to work and willingness to learn. Candidates must be highly self-motivated and have a good attention to detail; possess good organisation/planning and communication/team working skills with drive to develop.
Starting salary training £19,926 per annum or £26,569 per annum depending upon status in apprenticeship. On achievement of level 3 and completion of training £35,000 per annum basic and £6000 per annum shift pay.
You will work at 37.5 hour week Monday to Friday.
You must be able to travel to both St Helens and Ford based at Halewood to attend both off the job and on the job training.
