You could work as a full-time sport psychologist or you could combine consultancy work with teaching and research. As an exercise psychologist, you could work for a local health authority, or on a GP exercise referral scheme. You could also assess exercise programmes in workplaces, prisons or psychiatric settings. With experience and further study you could become a senior psychologist or head of a psychology department. You could also move into lecturing.

Assist senior coaches and management in a number of different aspects of We Do tennis, including tennis coaching in venues, parks, schools and SEN provision and general admin duties.
As a Level 3 Community Sports & Health Officer Apprentice, you will support the delivery of sports and health programmes within the community under the guidance of experienced professionals. Responsibilities include assisting in the planning, coordination, and implementation of sports activities and health promotion initiatives. You will engage with community members, facilitate workshops, and provide support to participants to enhance their physical and mental wellbeing. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to learn project management skills, develop partnerships with local organisations, and contribute to the evaluation and improvement of programmes. This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in community sports and health while working towards a recognised qualification.

You will be a permanent member of the Leisure Centre Team carrying out job roles such as General Assistant, Recreation Assistant, Concierge, Swimming Teacher & Fitness Instructor. The job roles that you are rotated for will be dependant on which qualifications you have achieved as well as the needs of the centre.

As a sports coach with Activ8, you’ll help children and their families to become more active and enjoy a variety of physical activities. Your role may cover any type of sport or physical activity as well as arts, crafts, health, nutrition and mental well-being.Coaches must be aware and follow all policies and procedures especially those relating to health and safety and safeguarding.
