While you are waiting at home for things to get back to normal, why not start your online training and become job ready. Our Training program will prepare you for the workplace and set you up with work experience.
As an Accounting Apprentice your time will be split between working with our Accounting Training team at the premises, working in the office and studying for your professional exams.
Your typical day will vary between:
•Learning to use accounting software and systems
•Learning and Assisting with the preparation of statutory and management accounts
•and year-end financial statements
•Bookkeeping, VAT returns
•Payroll processing, Monthly and yearly RTI submissions
•Assisting Training Teacher in preparation of accounting training material.
•Maintaining accounting files, videos, and other learning of the trainees records
•Nurturing accountancy trainee relationships through meetings and developing an understanding of their learning requirement
•Attending regular in-house training
•Studying towards your professional qualification

•Age between 16 to 24
•GCSE: including Maths , English, ICT, Btec level 1 and 2
•Functional skills would be provided to improve grades for Maths and English
•AS level/A-level and Btec Level 3 qualification or lower than Level 3 qualification
•Eligibility to live in the UK (Resident permit and Biometric card)
•AAT Qualification (Level 2, Level 3 and Level 4)
•Functional Skills classes to improve Maths and English grades.
Training & Support
•We will fund your study towards the AAT Accounting Level 3 qualification.
•You will receive a full study package and time off to study and attend college. Your professional qualification is only part of the story at KBM; we support all of our trainees with a blended approach to training and development including classroom study, 1:1 coaching, and soft skills training.
•You will be supported by a mentor and an appraising manager to keep your career and aspirations on track.
Good candidates will show a desire to learn and good attitude to the workplace. Punctuality is important, as is the ability to be a team player.
