Description of Opportunity

Your duties will include:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day daily tasks are completed within the agreed parameters, escalating to the Team Leader/supervisor where necessary
  • Ensure all customer enquiries/concerns are responded to within the agreed time parameters, via e-mail box and telephone log
  • Working with the Customer Services Supervisor, this role will support delivery of effective and efficient implementation of agreed processes

Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with the customer, inter department and peers
  • Follow documented processes, and highlighting to the Customer Service Supervisor if a change of process is required to add efficiencies to the process
  • Assist with the training of new members to the Customer Service Team
  • Approach all new and changes to the current processes & procedures with a positive attitude
  • Assess own performance and set personal objectives, including ongoing development and skills training.
  • Identify and implement personal development activities
  • Ensure office standards are maintained at all times

GCSE Grades A-C/8-4, equivalent or above in English and maths.

Good or bad customer service can make or break a business. In this day and age organisations recognise the importance of good customer service; and focus on developing this within their workforce.

As a customer service apprentice, you will receive mentoring in the workplace and training from Remit Group to help develop your skills and achieve your Level 2.

On successful completion, you will receive:

  • Level 2 in Customer Service Practitioner Standard
  • Level 1/Level 2 Functional Skills in English & maths (if required)
  • Ability to prioritise and multi-task
  • Self-driven but can also work as part of a wider team
  • Able to work to deadlines
