Description

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an apprentice to join the team at Highfield Residential Home in Kingswinford.

They are looking for a keen and caring candidate to join the team as an apprentice and work towards a qualification as part of the role

This is a great chance to start your career in care

Duties will include:

  • Personal care of residents including care of people confined to bed
  • To identify each residents unique specific needs of care
  • To observe and meet psychological and social needs
  • To assist with the safe administration of Medication
  • To assist with mealtimes
  • To ensure cleanliness and hygiene within the home to a high standard
  • Continence care
  • Basic First Aid Measures as per First Aid Training
  • To be aware of guidance of challenging Behaviour
  • Confidentiality
  • Following Care Plan

As an Apprentice you will be included on an Adult Care Qualification. Your Qualification will be delivered by an Award Winning Training Provider who will support your learning and development throughout your Apprenticeship. This will involve a Vocational Learning Advisor coming to visit you on a regular basis to deliver the training and guide you through your Apprenticeship.
