Description
Kenwick Gym has been designed to provide a balanced combination of cardiovascular and strength related equipment to meet the needs of members regardless of age, gender and physical condition. We deliver more than 70 fitness and relaxation classes each week and create personalised programme to help our members achieve their goals.
In addition, our leisure facility boasts a 20 metre x 8.5 metre deck level swimming pool has been designed for both exercise and relaxation and all weather tennis courts.
We require a Apprentice Fitness Coach to join our workforce to carry out general leisure duties, whilst we support you to gain a qualification in Active Leisure and support you in developing your career, whether this be group exercise or personal training.
As an Apprentice Fitness Coach your duties will include;
- Assist and supervise guests and members in their use of the facilities, Potential of taking group exercise classes based on individual and own personal desires.
- Host gym inductions and client consultations for gym programs, Design member gym programs
- Deal with membership enquiries and process payments, Promote and sell club memberships.
- Carry out regular routine inspections and safety checks of the fitness equipment, Maintain hygiene, safety and fire standards within the work area in adherence with safety matters and all legal requirements in order to ensure the health and safety of guests, members and associates.
- Carry out regular checks for cleanliness of all areas of the leisure club and to complete daily tasks within the department when on shift
As an Apprentice you will be included on a Active Leisure qualification. Your qualification will be delivered by an Award Winning Training Provider who will support your learning and development throughout your Apprenticeship. This will involve a Regional Trainer coming to visit you on a regular basis to deliver the training and guide you through your Apprenticeship.
