If you are looking for a rewarding career in Early Years, then a great opportunity has arisen to join our amazing team. We are looking for a highly motivated Apprentice Early Years Educator, who is enthusiastic, innovative, and passionate about improving outcomes for children from birth to five years.


The duties in the role will include:

  • Looking after young children from babies to preschool age, supporting children on a variety of different activities, undertaking domestic tasks including cleaning equipment, tidying etc.
  • Working as part of a team and meeting the needs of all the children we care for.
  • Develop respectful and warm relationships with all the children by taking part in activities with them appropriate to their age and developmental needs.
  • Develop positive relationships with parents/ carers, other staff members and other outside agencies

  • Some knowledge of working or caring for children is preferred, but more importantly you MUST be willing to learn and have a good work ethic with the enthusiasm and dedication to succeed
  • Ability to work as part of a team and able to work on own initiative
  • A commitment to quality in all areas, with a high level of motivation and enthusiasm



  • GCSE maths and English or equivalent at a level 1 (grade 3) preferred.
  • Option for skills Bootcamp course to start accelerated apprenticeship at level 3 for the right candidate.

Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. Nina's Nursey will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.

You will be working towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard, which includes:

  • Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
  • Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator
  • Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid or Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid
  • Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)

This will be delivered through Nina's Nurseries dedicated training provider, Realise.
