Description

As part of Gaist’s drive to bring their transformational offer to a diverse range of industries, the need has arisen for a Sales Co-Ordinator to support their sales and marketing activity.

You will become an integral part of Gaist’s sales and marketing team, focusing on their highways activities and building and maintaining a contact database that will form the basis of their forward business activity in this area. You will be tasked with leading on assessing and updating the existing client database alongside finding new prospects within the highways industry, qualifying and uploading them into our CRM system for forward sales and marketing campaigns. Furthermore, this role will you to build an understanding of the hierarchies within highways authorities in order to effectively target our company messaging.

Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:

•Communicating with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers to generate leads to be passed on to the Sales team.

•Answering potential customers' questions and sending additional information as required.

•Keeping up with product and service information and updates.

•Creating and maintaining the CRM with current and potential customers and opportunities.

•Producing sales documentation and reports as required.

•Market research (for example incumbent providers and spend).

•Assisting with organising marketing events, webinars and conferences.

•Possibly creating new marketing content.

•Act in a positive and constructive way to help develop and maintain the company brand.

•Take personal responsibility for own health, safety and welfare and that of colleagues in the workplace.

•To take personal responsibility for demonstrating the aims of the company’s equality and diversity objectives.

•Support the company’s values of Quality, Integrity, Teamwork and Innovation.
