Description
You will learn how to provide technical assistance to over 100 end-users, across 10 sites. The successful candidate should also have an interest in and be able to demonstrate knowledge of Visual Basic.Net to develop and maintain scripts used to automate routine tasks. You will be customer-focused, have strong problem-solving skills, and be able to work well in a team environment. This is an exciting role with a fast-growing company.
Responsibilities:
â¢Assist in providing first level technical support to end-users via telephone, email, Teams and in-person.
â¢Work alongside an experienced member of the team whilst learning all aspects of the role.
â¢Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
â¢Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software.
â¢Develop and maintain scripts to automate routine tasks, such as customer documentation, and data imports / export.
â¢Create and maintain documentation for all scripts and automated tasks.
â¢Maintain accurate records of all support activities.
â¢Escalate unresolved issues to higher level support or third-party vendors as necessary.
â¢Provide end-user training as needed.
â¢Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and secure.
â¢Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology and software trends.
â¢To demonstrate a positive, enthusiastic, committed and flexible attitude towards work, team member, colleagues and other persons.
â¢Recognising the importance and benefits of effective team working.
â¢To work in line with âbest practiceâ ensuring compliance to relevant policies.
â¢To maintain confidentiality and discretion.

Your Tutor, Pathway Planner and Employer will decide the best pathway for you to follow.
All training is delivered online in virtual classrooms twice per week
