Time Assistant are a leading UK Virtual Assistant provider who work with all types of small businesses by carrying out a range of back-office tasks to help free up their time. Time Assistant have a track record of bringing on apprentices, and due to continued growth they have an exciting opportunity for their fourth Customer Service Apprentice to join their team in the heart of Glasgow City Centre!



Overview:



You will be trained to provide advice and support to clients but you will also need to demonstrate the ability to find answers from a range of sources. As Time Assistant are a small business you will be an integral part of the company operation, as the business grows so will your responsibility. Time Assistant is based in Glasgow but their clients are spread all over. Some are as close as next door to their Glasgow office and others are far away in Uruguay, Latin America.



If you are the one that likes to organise everything for your friends or family and gets a thrill when you tick something off on your to-do list or then this role is for you!



Responsibilities:





  • Serving as the initial contact for clients through email and phone, addressing inquiries and concerns


  • Becoming a superuser in Xero system to issue client invoices


  • Using collaborative technology Airtable database to update customer information regularly and schedule appointments


  • Cultivating connections with recurring clients


  • Generating documents using Airtable




Required skills: 





  • Great attitude and work ethic


  • High level of organisation and the ability to multitask


  • Strong communication skills to handle email and telephone enquiries


  • Flexible in your approach to work


  • Ability to make decisions and work with minimum supervision once training has been provided


  • Business related qualification preferred but certainly not essential




Salary:



£14,100 per annum



Working hours:



30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 11.30am – 5:30pm

They talk you through the specifics on the qualifications you gain and how they align in particular to your day to day role.



On completion, as well as the valuable work experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification at SCQF Level 6.
