Description
As an Outsourcing Trainee on our First Step programme (suitable for recent school / college leavers), you'll experience a wide range of exciting work to include; maintaining the financial records of various businesses across a wide range of industries, working with innovative accounting systems and delivering a value added service to our clients. You'll have plenty of access and interaction with the manager team who will guide you every step of the way, plus a supportive team who will help you develop and hone your skills.

- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications.

- On track to achieve at least a minimum of 112 UCAS points (or equivalent) in your top three A-Levels (minimum requirement)

The AAT pathway is suited to individuals who are working in a role that requires competencies in drafting financial statements for limited companies, recommending accounting systems strategies and/or constructing and presenting complex management accounting reports. At the end of this programme, if all mandatory and optional unit assessments have been passed, learners will also gain the AAT Level 4 Diploma in Professional Accounting.
This pathway is made up of three mandatory units and a choice of two out of five optional units.

- Drafting and Interpreting of Financial Statements (DAIF)
- Applied Management Accounting (AMAC)
- Internal Accounting Systems and Controls (INAC)* - Apprentices will complete this unit as part of their AAT L4 EPA synoptic assessment.

During your training contract you will study for an AAT qualification through a Level 4 apprenticeship, followed by the ACCA qualification through a Level 7 apprenticeship. This typically takes five years to complete from start to finish.
