Employer Description: 

  • We work closely with local authorities and businesses to deliver reliable, high quality charging networks at pace, at scale and at zero cost.

Vacancy Description: 

  • Support the implementation of cyber policies, procedures & best practices.
  • Manage & Enforce security policies for Windows & Mac using Microsoft intune.
  • 1st line support for IT requests, troubleshooting issues across Windows & Mac environments.
  • SharePoint sites, implementing scalable folder structures with permissions.

Desirable Skills: 

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Intune, Azure AD, and Exchange administration.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a self-starter attitude and eagerness to take initiative.
  • Passion for cyber security, IT infrastructure, and cloud security best practices.

Personal Qualities:

  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong problem solving skills.

Desired Experience:

  • Practical experience with security configurations, user access management, and cloud-based IT administration.
  • Understanding of IT security principles, threat management, and compliance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, and security best practices.
  • Experience supporting Windows and Mac environments.
Entry Requirements:
  • An A-Level in ICT
  • OR an International Baccalaureate at Level 3 in ICT
  • OR a Level 3 apprenticeship in a similar subject
  • OR a BTEC Extended Diploma in IT (180 credits)
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.   If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.    For more information please visit the UK ENIC website.
