Reflexologists apply pressure to certain parts of the hands and feet (reflexes) which they believe can help with relaxation and wellbeing.
You'll usually need at least 1 A-Level, or equivalent, for a foundation degree. You need 2 to 3 A-Levels, or equivalent, for a degree.
You'll usually need 4 or 5 GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C), or equivalent, for a Level 3 course. You could also join an accredited register managed by the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) or the Federation of Holistic Therapists. You may find it useful if you have experience in healthcare, massage, beauty therapy or counselling.

You could go on to train and qualify in other areas of complementary therapy, like aromatherapy, massage therapy or Reiki healing. This can help you to attract more clients. With experience and further training, you could become a reflexology teacher. You could also coach or mentor newly qualified reflexologists.
Dramatherapists use group work, role play and movement to help people with their feelings and emotions.
Chiropractors manipulate joints, bones and soft tissue to help clients control pain or prevent injuries from re-occurring.
Reiki practitioners use their hands to help people relax and improve their wellbeing.
Psychological wellbeing practitioners give treatment and support to people with mental health problems.
Homeopaths believe that you can use homeopathic remedies to stimulate the body to heal itself.
Acupuncturists insert needles into pressure points on clients' bodies to help relieve everyday stresses, and improve their wellbeing.

Employers think apprentices are 15% more employable than those with other qualifications. In fact, many large employers train their graduates and apprentices together!
There’s only so much you can learn when you just do a qualification. As an apprentice, you’ll also get to learn on the job – whether that’s designing amazing graphics, chopping vegetables, or building engines!
