You could become a senior technician and register with the Engineering Council to get EngTech status. With further training, you could qualify as a materials engineer. You could also move into purchasing, sales and management.
Chemical plant process operators control machinery that makes chemical products, like paints, cleaning fluids and cosmetics.
Chemists study chemicals and materials and how they behave under different conditions.
Chimney sweeps clean the chimneys and flues of open fires and other coal, gas, oil and wood-fired heating systems.
Food factory workers make frozen, tinned, baked and dried products.
Naval architects design, construct, refit and repair marine vessels and offshore structures.
Agricultural engineers build, service and repair agricultural, horticultural and forestry machinery and equipment.
Programme duration: Two-yearsStarting salary: 24,196 with a potential earnings capability c. 50k as an established Craftsperson.Our Craftsperson training programme will provide a great mix of practical experience and on-the-job training and support you through a formal qualification as defined in the national Craftsperson Apprenticeship standard. All this will build on the skills you already have and fine-tune them for your onward career as a fully qualified Power Network Craftsperson.
