Gain a professional qualification while earning a salary
We’re looking for people who want to contribute, spark fresh ideas and be part of the UHY family. Our non-graduate training programmes are designed to offer ambitious A level (or equivalent) students the opportunity to qualify and build a career in accountancy. You will benefit from both on-the-job training and classroom based study, as well as learning from the established accountants all around you. And as we only select a small number of trainees in any one year, there is a better chance for you to stretch your talents and experience a greater diversity of work.
Are you looking to join a team that:
Is values driven?
Believes in and delivers a culture of work-life balance, with a focus on wellbeing?
Provides a clear career framework and routes to progress?
Understands the importance of rewarding and retaining high calibre teams?
Delivered 20% growth in the last 12 months?
If so we would love to hear from you
As a trainee, your typical daily duties will include;
Checking a client’s financial information, purchase and sales invoices;
Checking bank balances and bank statements;
Reviewing client payroll records for accuracy;
Ensure sound knowledge of a client and its industry by researching background information and useful publications;
Develop communication skills and build relationships with key stakeholders;
Utilise accounts software;

Develop and apply technical knowledge gained from studies and on the job experience;
Attend in-house technical training as required;
