Description
The main responsibility of the role is to work alongside the Account Managers, the Sales Manager and the Internal Sales team to develop relationships with existing and new customers and to grow sales in your respective area.
We would require the successful candidate to be comfortable on the telephone in an open plan office as we expect about half of their time to be making / receiving phone calls.
Key aspects of the role will include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Contacting customers and potential customers by telephone (mainly) and email;
• Developing new business through potential customers and no recent business accounts;
• Maintaining customer and potential customer records on the company database; and
• Any other ad hoc tasks as directed by your Line Manager or a Director.
