Description of Opportunity
Excellent opportunity working for a great nursery setting based in Lichfield area. You will be working in a busy environment looking after children aged 0 - 5 years old. Your classroom days will be based online as a remote session , and your main apprenticeship work will be done in the nursery.

Strong inter-personal and communication skills

Having childcare experience is an advantage
Applicants should have a desire to develop and enhance their childcare skills whilst working in a supportive nursery setting. This role is ideal for anybody who has a genuine passion for working with children and that is keen to learn and progress in their own professional development. The successful applicant will be a positive role model and enthusiastic individual.
You will need to be available for remote sessions on teams for 10 days out of your whole apprenticeship, for your remote learning. You will be working within the nursery for the rest of the time with the support of your dedicated childcare assessor.
Developing into a Level 3 practitioner, with the potential of a permanent position upon successful completion.
Jelly Totz Nursery opened in January 2009. The building was formerly an old police house, since then it had been changed to a residential dwelling, until the new owners bought the property and converted it into a Nursery, completely renovating the inside and outside, to the highest of standards.
At Jelly Totz, we feel that children in their early years are in their prime for learning, a child’s imagination and social skills need to be developed. We aim to offer a high standard of child care in comfortable surroundings, all closely supervised by our highly trained staff. Every child who attends our nursery will be given individual care and attention appropriate to their needs. Our days at Nursery are structured, thus enabling all areas of creative play/learning to be explored and developed. The nursery is run by local owners who employ enthusiastic staff who are committed to providing exciting activities in a stimulating, and caring environment, promoting all aspects of children’s development.
