We don’t believe in the traditional notion of 'work experience' either. At Microsoft you are given real responsibility from the outset, with an employment contract for the duration of your apprenticeship, and funded training that's relevant to your role. When you complete your apprenticeship, you’ll receive a nationally recognised qualification and support to try to help you continue your career at Microsoft.

This is used to understand your eligibility for the programme taken in to account your grades and prior experience. We do not screen based on your CV. Please note applications from current or recent graduates (graduated within 1 year) will be directed towards our graduate programme to open in Oct/Nov 2021. Care is at the heart of everything we do. We understand that when people get to use their strengths, they are engaged, happier, and more likely to achieve their goals. This part of the process is delivered via a one way interview using the My Interview system where you will answer a set of questions. The best bit about this, is you can record it whenever you like, at a time that suits you and when you feel comfortable.

As an IT Solutions Technician Apprentice, you will take on a Level 3 apprenticeship learning how to resolve all manner of internal IT queries and providing high levels of IT support.Specifically, you will learn how to respond to and resolve support queries and issues which relate to the internal software application, NetSuite. NetSuite is integral to the day-to-day operations of every department within the company and your role will be key to supporting smooth functionality.Working as part of the Systems Team, you will learn how to:- Handle and respond to support cases- Assist with more complex and involved cases- Complete with system administration duties- Help with the implementation of additional system modules and updates- Investigate, carefully test, and deploy software- Provide IT Support when and where needed across the business
