OPERATIONAL APPRENTICESHIPS
Supply Chain Leader or Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship

If you are looking to earn a degree whilst developing skills within a global market leading supply chain organisation, this is the programme for you! Our Supply Chain Leadership Professional Degree Apprenticeship has been designed to grow our Supply Chain Leaders of the future and provides experience across both warehousing and transport roles during the 4 year programme. The programme will support you to successfully manage people, projects, operations and services, and we will be looking to you to become DHL’s Site Leaders of the future.

The Chartered Manager Degree is an overarching Leadership degree, giving you the skills, knowledge and behaviours needed to be a professional leader in our Organisation. You will gain valuable experience across many different areas of the operations, initially shadowing our subject matter experts, which will lead you to have real responsibility in your operational area. The 4 year programme will support you to successfully manage people, projects, operations ,services and many more areas.

Inventory
Inventory Manager Level 3 ( Supply Chain practitioner Apprenticeship)

Inventory control is at the heart of what we do. If you have a passion for ensuring deadlines for our Customers are met, ensuring stock is held in the correct conditions and kept in perfect condition. Do you like to manage data, ensure that rotation of goods is kept to process and ultimately want to be part of a team that ensure that all customers get goods as and when required, then inventory Management is for you. Using the latest system and processes you will have real responsibility from Day 1 and this will be enhanced by completing your Supply Chain Practitioner Level 3.

Customs ( international Freight Forwarding)

This programme has been designed to ensure that we grow our own subject matter experts in the Customs areas. You will learn by the end of the programme you will be the experts in understanding how to move freight between territories, gaining valuable customer Services skills as you will be dealing with many different countries. Understanding how to complete relevant documents and declaration, whilst ensuring all process have been completed to ensure legal compliance.

Continuous improvement Technicians

Continuous Improvement Technicians are responsible for creating, delivering and the coaching of improvement activity within their area of responsibility, often associated with lean and six sigma methodologies. During the 21 month programme you will learn how to complete root cause analysis, data &basic statistics, change management, legislative , Health and Safety and environment compliance.

Marketing

DHL’s marketing team creates awareness, generates interest and drives demand across the wide range of supply chain solutions, and as such plays a pivotal role in the growth of the business. (2 x 12m placements)
