Microsoft Apprentice Community
The Microsoft apprentice community is network of apprentices who are focused on giving back while working with Microsoft. This community creates a supportive and inclusive environment for all apprentices to be the best versions of themselves.
Our community collaborates to drive impact within and beyond their community – whatever part of the business they operate in, our apprentices come together to create one Microsoft environment to thrive and succeed in. They activate their growth mindsets to try new ideas and learn from their findings, and provide support and structure for one another.
Our apprentices own the experience and are accountable for the difference they want to make, allowing people to focus their energy and passion both inside and outside of their day jobs towards making a difference.
What’s our process?
Our process is all about understanding your potential. We can teach you the skills.
This is used to understand your eligibility for the programme taken in to account your grades and prior experience. We do not screen based on your CV. Please note applications from current or recent graduates (graduated within 1 year) will be directed towards our graduate programme to open in Oct/Nov 2021. If your graduation date is more than 1 year at the time of application please visit the Microsoft Career Site for full time opportunities.
Microsoft Apprentice Strengths-Based Video Interview:
Care is at the heart of everything we do. We understand that when people get to use their strengths, they are engaged, happier, and more likely to achieve their goals. This part of the process is delivered via a one way interview using the My Interview system where you will answer a set of questions. The best bit about this, is you can record it whenever you like, at a time that suits you and when you feel comfortable.
Manager & Team Interview:
Meet your potential new team. If you have successfully matched with the Microsoft Apprentice strengths then you will be invited to a virtual interview with a manager and a team member.

While you are going through our process, we want to be able to help you grow key transferable digital skills. There are specific pathways for each role for e.g. if you are interested in a Data Analyst role, there is a pathway for you.
