Description

The successful candidate will be supported through a wide range of daily and weekly activities. We find that the best way of learning is on the job. You will be fully trained in the computer software and the systems we employ as a business to ensure the smooth running of Southern timber. We will also provide product training as you grow into your role, your responsibilities will increase as your knowledge grows. Initially everyone starts on the front counter serving both trade and retail customers providing quotes, advice and taking payments for order. Along with answering the phone and responding to emails, processing orders and quotes.


List of Duties:

  • Serving customers in our shop
  • Providing estimates via telephone/email/over the counter
  • Providing support and information to our customers on our products
  • Taking orders and processing payments
  • Answering the phone and making sales calls
  • Further duties and responsibilities as knowledge increases
