Description
Working alongside a team of architects and technologists, our Apprentice Architectural Technician will:
- Carry out measured surveys in order for technical drawings to be prepared.
- Carry out relevant searches/enquiries/site analysis for the provision of detailed plans and necessary permissions.
- Draft and edit drawings, visuals, technical specifications, and other documentation using relevant software e.g. CAD, MS office.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies e.g. Local Authority Building Control and Planning, as required
- Respond to email and telephone enquiries and action as appropriate.
- Attend meetings and prepare minutes as required.

The apprentice will be based at our Dorchester office for four days a week "learning on the job" and attend college one day per week at Exeter College Future Skills Centre to study the Level 4 HNC in Architectural Technology. Exeter College deliver this course over 24 months.
