I decided to do an apprenticeship as it offered me a direct route into the career in which I wanted to pursue and also incorporated all of the learning into one programme so I didn't have to worry about leaving university and finding a job.

If you are looking for an apprenticeship, make sure you conduct lots of research! Find a firm that you believe will be the best fit for you and learn lots about them in preparation for interviews.

The highlights of my apprenticeship so far have definitely been networking with a number of different people within the firm and being able to travel to different offices to talk about the apprenticeship and learn from the more experienced apprentices. We have access to the wider apprenticeship cohort within the firm with a number of apprentices being stationed in our Manchester office. Our educational provider BPP also has a virtual campus in which we can interact with people on our course and attend both virtual and in person events to support this.
