Description
Gain experience and training necessary to qualify as a paralegal
within the commercial property field, then progress to gain experience and
training necessary to gain an LLB degree and qualify as a solicitor within the
commercial property field.
Main Duties:
- Shadowing and working with solicitors
including partners of the firm
- Legal research
- Assisting administrative and compliance
processes such as opening files and onboarding of clients
- Drafting, negotiating and amending
legal documents
- Communicating with clients and other
contacts such as agents, lawyers, lenders
- Handling legal exchange of contracts
and completions of transactions
- Property due diligence – title issues,
searches, raising enquiries
- Providing tailored legal advice to a diverse
range of clients
- Post-completion administration
including submission of Stamp Duty Land Tax, applications to HM Land Registry
