Tell us more about your experience

In my role working in a Marketing Agency, I set up, manage, and optimise Paid Social campaigns across different channels and platforms such as Meta, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, and LinkedIn. I work in the Performance Marketing team for the Volvo Account which involves me responding to client briefs, planning new campaigns, communicating with platform representatives and publishers, and then writing valuable insights and recommendations in our weekly commentary reports to improve performance and hit clients’ KPIs and goals. 

“I really enjoy my job as every day is different, there’s lots of exciting projects to get involved in as well as the excellent development opportunities available to me.” 

My apprenticeship has been the main pillar of my success at Mindshare, it has allowed me to invest valuable time and effort in my growth and career aspirations. Since completing my programme, I have been given the responsibility of managing global markets by myself and leading their marketing campaigns as well as refining new processes to ensure more productive and collaborative working practices within my team. Additionally, I have been given an opportunity to mentor and train other Account Executives based overseas to ensure standards are maintained across the account, which is a great skill I have earned that is transferable in any work environment.

One thing I love about working in a huge marketing agency is that I have gained extensive exposure to some of the biggest clients in the world. Whilst I was doing my apprenticeship, I worked on the Dyson Account which was an amazing experience and since moving to Volvo, I have developed a lot of knowledge in the Automotive industry. In an agency like Mindshare, you will get the opportunity to work with some of the top leaders in the industry, which is a great way to learn new things and excel in your career!
